Guardian of dimensions - Opening scene -------------------------------------- Ok, a few things to say before starting. First of all, the music for the opening scene is "Kaze ni nari tai", Haruka's S image song. (What!? You've never heard that song!? Then what are you doing here staring at the screen? Go to some web page that has it [a good place is World Shaking, http://harukatenoh.animecity.nu/] and download it, then come back here after you have it, ok?) Why did I choose this song? Well, I like it, and since the fanfic will revolve mainly around Haruka... Now, onto with the scene! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *instrumental* A garden, full of flowers. As the camera gets closer to a bush, we get to see two rosebuds: one white and one blue. As the camera stops on them, the blue one blooms, whether the white one is cut and taken away by someone. [frame fades into the next one] "Kikanai de kure Doko kara kita no ka" We see Himeko standing, looking into the sky, a gentle breeze toying with her hair. "Hiumenai de kure Kono kizu ni" The camera gets quickly close to her, and we see that she's crying. The breeze grows stronger and blows the tears away, along with some white rose petals. [frame fades into the next one] "Hiumenai de kure Nakushita kino o ni" We see Haruka's reflection in a river. The camera goes up to show her standing on a bridge and looking down at the water, then returns to the reflection again. "Tomenai de kure Sore ijo o" The wind ripples the water, confusing the reflection, and blue rose petals are blown around. "Ima mo kokoro ni Nemuraseta yume Arashi no yo o ni Aawagu kedo" Haruka is still looking into the river. The camera goes down to the reflection again: when the water has calmed down, instead of it we see two identical little girls, one wearing a white dress, the other wearing a blue one, playing happily together. "Senaka o mukete Mabataki hitotsu Namida no yo o ni Chirashite yuku no sa" The camera goes up again to show Haruka staring for a moment, then throwing a rock into the water with all her strenght. She then turns around and runs away. [frame fades into the next one] "Ano hi kara Eranda Tatakai no hibi" We see the girl with the blue dress, now bruised and covered in dirt, close her eyes as to blink away tears, then open them again, looking defiantly into the camera. [frame fades into the next one] "Kaze ni nari tai Kaze ni nari tai" The girl with the blue dress is now laying on the grass in the garden, tears trickling down her cheeks as she smells a white rose. *instrumental* We see the little girl with the blue dress grow up. On her forehead, a symbol suddenly lights up, but it's too shiny to be figured out. The scene fades as two doors open: the girl walks through them, into the throne room of Queen Serenity and respectfully kneels in front of her, looking down to the floor. The camera comes closer to her face: we see that her eyes are full of hatred, and she's crying. [frame fades into the next one] "Semenai de kure Yasashiku nakute mo" The girl is laying on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Then, she gets up and goes to open the door. "Nakanai de kure Kono mune yo" Seeing Princess Serenity standing there, she narrows her eyes, slams the door in Serenity's face, then she throws herself on her bed sobbing hard. "Karen ni saita Mujaki na hana ni Kuchizucheru hi wa Mada toi" The girl with the white dress appears, faintly visible, like if she was a ghost, and touches gently the girl with the blue dress on the shoulder. The girl looks up, and seeing who it is she smiles. "Daremo ga yume o Mirareu seikai Kono mi o tateni Mamoru to chikatta" The girl with the white dress smiles too, and touches the other's forehead, causing both their symbols to light up. Then she vanishes. The girl with the blue dress gets up, opens the door and runs after Serenity. [frame fades into the next one] "Ano hi kara Haruka na Senshi e no michi" Haruka runs into Himeko, and both fall down. Looking up their eyes meet, and they smile to each other. [frame fades into the next one] "Kaze ni nari tai Kaze ni nari tai" The girl with the white dress and the one with the blue one are looking into a globe of light they are holding into their hands, smiling. The camera gets closer to it. "Kaze ni nari tai Kaze ni nari tai" Inside it we can see Himeko and Haruka walking away together, chatting, as the wind blows around them white and blue rose petals. *instrumental* Some petals come out of it, blocking the view. When we can see again, Himeko and Haruka are posing together, smiling, and in the background slowly appear first the two girls, ghostly looking, then two roses, one white and one blue.
