Huh, this is weird... a woman decided she no longer wanted to have kids, so she got sterilized. But her gynecologist botched the job up, and she had another kid. And a judge ruled that the gynecologist will have to pay €150.000 to help pay for the expenses for the kid, up until the kid is out of university. o.O (Article in Italian, sorry.)

The whole thing. *shrug* Especially the fact that the woman had to make a court case out of it and fight for SEVEN YEARS to get the gynecologist to pay. You'd think it was common sense that if the kid is his fault he should pay, especially since the woman hadn't wanted more kids because she and her husband aren't very wealthy and a third kid = struggling to make ends meet.
