Do stop staring...

Yes, new layout. Yes, I switched to MoveableType. Yes, I even imported old entries. I'm also looking for a way to import the old archives I have just as HTML files. They're going to get imported if I have to copypaste every single one by hand, damnit. And so are the comments I had on Blogback.

In the meantime, I would love opinions on this layout. :)

I also changed the name of this blog, from "Angelica" to "Winged". "Winged" fits and feels better, I think, as compared to "Angelica", which I picked almost three years ago to be witty. I was debating between "Winged" and "Wingless", actually... but "Winged" is better. 'Cause I can fly. (And that will mean something to very few people, no more than five, but meh.)

I reckon this layout isn't quite as good as the previous three (the only ones I can remember) were. It's looks fine while the picture at the top is visible, but once you've scrolled past that the panels look a bit monotonous with that blueish-green colour...

The picture itself looks nice (especially how it fades out at the edges). Increasing the width of the side-thing was probably a good idea too.

My sister just said the page (scrolled down below the picture) looks like spaceship stuff. I don't know exactly why, but I think I agree with that...

Yeh well, it's not like the other ones were any less monotonous once the top image was out of view... they had even less variation than this one, just one color.

*shrug*

I dunno how long this is gonna last, anyway. I'll probably make a new one soon. I had to kick it a lot before I got it in a presentable shape. I like the top image but that's pretty much it for this layout...

I like this layout. It's perhaps a bit too monochrome for you, but I think it's nice.

And the "winged" thing makes sense to me. Should it? I suspect I'm not one of the five people, but I have a tendancy to see meanings in nonsense and patterns in chaos. Not a bad skill to have...
