Goddamn mosquitoes

I woke up this morning scratching at my arms. Two mosquitoes had bitten me on my elbows, and it itched like hell. I was scratching at my arms even in my sleep, according to my mother.
And yesterday afternoon I went outside in the garden for five minutes, and when I came back inside I had so many mosquito bites on my legs they could've spelled "mosquito wuz here - sweet blood to be found!" in morse code. ¬¬
Mosquitoes are one of the few things I really hate about summer. That, and the "aargh I'm MELTING let me go inside I want to hug the AC" heat.

You think you've got it bad? Mosquitos are horrid in Florida. They practically outnumber the populace of the United States here, by themselves.

Yes, you know all about me and my bitching about skeeters, I rarely go outside during the summer just because of the little bastards. I prefer non-bumpy skin, thanks. :-)

Who am I kidding? It's freezing, the wind keeps knocking the power out and I have a death murder cold.

Fred, as long as it doesn't rain, I'd take the first flight to where you live if I could...

I *hate* summer.

(I may be a bit biased though due to the fact that right now everybody's on holiday except me... still my least prefered season anyway)
