5-ish days to go before I leave...

...and I'm feeling a little sad. Never would've thought this would happen before I came here, but I really don't want to leave... had quite a lot of fun here, even working stupid hours and with basically no free time (see Edinburgh? well it's rainy and historical-y, but that's pretty much all I saw of the place). And I'll miss being with my friend (even though I still have no idea how he can put up with me). Even though I am looking forward to going back home, for proper food and my own bed and my books and my cats and everything... I still don't really want to leave.

From what you've seen, do you agree with my assertation that Garrett would appreciate the architecture?

Depends on what you mean with "appreciate the architecture".

I mean that several of the buildings (especially along near North Bridge / Princes Street) look like they'd make a great climbing puzzle for Thief.

Aha... yup, that's true. Many buildings look climbable.

So when do you leave? Just curious.

BTW, I've been to 5 of the last 7 festivals and this was the wettest by far. A distinct lack of street performers this year seemed to confirm my view.

Tomorrow afternoon. I'm losing the internet connection pretty much now, as it's the last thing to go off the office + building + other stuff I just pulled an allnighter to help inventory and tidy... I'll be back home Friday 3 late evening, back online, eh, Saturday 4 late afternoon (I'll sleep like a rock Saturday morning, I'm betting).
